I have always fancied myself an "artist".... but, lacking the skill to draw and paint created a bit of a roadblock! So, I have had to tap into deep recesses of my right brain to find a way to create art without having the skill to execute it. Miracle of miracles- the home computer was invented! I taught myself graphic design- added a dash of sarcasm and some tin can lids and wha la!
I was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and I am a full blooded Cajun! Not much of us around these days. My father was a professional golfer and his career brought us to Michigan when I was 9 years old- I lived there until 1988, when I had enough sense to get the heck out of the cold and moved to Florida. I lived in West Palm Beach for 15 years and in 2004 I moved to Maryville, Illinois (a dinky little town just across the river from Saint Louis) I often question the sanity of the move, especially in the winter! But......it is a nice little town and is a source of much of my humor (some interesting characters here). My mom still lives in Florida- so I still have a place to get out of the cold when I have to!
I have a 19 year old son who is my pride and joy and the love of my life. To the dismay of many, he also inherited my sense of humor and sarcastic tendencies. I have 2 crazy cats that allow me to live with them.
